Homelessness is a growing reality in communities across Canada...and in our own community of Moose Jaw.  With a growing number of our community members experiencing housing and food insecurity, Square One Community felt it was important to raise awareness and de-myth some distorted beliefs around homelessness.   We felt there was no better way than to speak to those with "lived experience".  When we understand the realities, we are better equipped to meet our community members where they are at.

With that in mind, Square One Community partnered with Willow Lodge (John Howard Society) and Rogers TV to create a video production citing the personal stories of those who have experienced homelessness.  

We are grateful beyond measure to the participants for the courage they showed by sharing their story.  

We are also grateful to Eric and Rogers TV for their incredible pro-bono creation.
