On March 14th, 2024 at 7pm Square One Community  invited the community to be a part of the "solution" by supporting our
2nd WALK F♥️R WARMTH. The WALK F♥️R WARMTH was created as a local initiative to raise funds for
supporting those who are housing insecure.

Our goal, through this downtown walk, was to raise enough funds through sponsorships and team pledges to develop
a Supportive Housing Hub out of our current space at William Milne Place.

The WALK F♥️R WARMTH took place on Thursday, March 14 at 7 pm on the steps of Zion United Church.
Together, we walked down Main Street, turning on High St. toward St. Aidan’s Church to hear the Church Bells
ringing, around Crescent Park, and end at St. Andrew’s Social Hall.

It was a short walk with the goal of making a huge difference! Square One Community believes in the power of
community collaboration. We needed everyone’s support to make this a success.

WE CALLED ALL: Adults, youth, church communities, businesses, organizations, agencies, sports teams, dance groups.
EVERYONE to walk as a team or as an individual and help us make the Supportive Housing Hub a reality.

We realized over $8000.00; raised awareness and demonstrated our support to those living with housing insecurity.
